Have you heard about a special type of microsatellites that can observe environmental changes like sea level or melting of glaciers? With the help of that technology, scientists can approach the solution how to avoid global warming. Moreover, there is even a special type of sats that can track rare species of animals to prevent them from being killed by poachers.

I agree with you that space junk became an issue nowadays, however the type of the microsateliites I`ve mentioned is vitaly needed for us. It helps scientists to make an important work in environmental preservation campaign
 
Not needed. We already know these things are happening and the rest is a political and social issue.

This topic seems a bit off topic for the ask a pro subforum.
 
To protect some species of animals from being killed by poachers these types of microstellites are extremly needed. Also, there are types of sats that can observe land to prevent Desertification, which is a type of degradation of land in which the land becomes more arid.
