Have there been any new space sim type games lately? I haven't played one since Wing Commanger Prophecy(which was pretty hot), would kinda like a new one.
 
Sadly Freelancer seems to be the most recent space sim. I miss WC and Freespace, Hell I would play a poor writen X-Wing game simply because its there.
 
Ha, it's funny. I used to be halfway decent at X-wing vs TIE Fighter and Xwing: Alliance when they came out. I just bought a new joystick a few months ago and fired up XWA for old times' sake. Now it USED to take me all of 1 shot and 2 seconds to kill a TIE fighter. It took me almost a full minute and 30 shots to get the first ah heck down. I was very very humbled.
 
Yea I also just got a new joystick for christmas, went to fire up WC: Prophecy(which I actually never beat), and my disc is scratched, BAH! Makes me sad...
 
Freelancer. Goddamn thats a BIG universe. Even WITH the hints its a pain in the ass to find the hidden items.
