Space Junk burning up over denver caught on tape this morning by TV chopper crew

wow, that kinda makes me a lil anal about flying...b/c u never know if any space junk might hit your plane (yeah I know that it maybe highly unlikely... but there is still a chance)

While I don't think I'd want to be standing where that landed, it would have been GREAT to watch it come through the atmosphere. Says a piece landed in Riverton WY...Hmm, E-BAY!!

Says it burned up and crashed over North America. Now why are the Russians burning up their crap over us? Do we burn up our stuff over Russia? I dont think so, so why is it ok for them to do it?

More likely something screwed up.

Controlled burn ups are always carried out over a large ocean (usually the Pacific) so that they don't hit land.
