Sega has an amazing knack for taking the stupidest concept you can imagine and making it fun and addictive.
Space Channel 5: "Simon" with graphics. They read a pattern of keypresses to you and you parrot them back. Up-down-up-down CHU! CHU! CHU! Makes for a great way to cut up games with overly complex play controls like Rainbow 6 where you have to "Space Channel 5" to do a simple task "up-up-up down left right chu chu!"

Crazy Taxi: Pick up a fare and drive him to the destination as quickly as possible. Repeat ad nauseum.

Virtua Tennis: Move towards the ball and press a button.

Samba de Amigo: Shake maracas in time to flying balls on the screen.

Seaman: Feed, pet and talk to a virtual pet.

Yet all these games are astoundingly fun and addictive. It's amazing.

ever since i bought the stock...............

got in at 5, out at 10 during the xmas dreamcast rush

back in at 3................gotta love it and now they're operating at 0 loss, and look to have profits next year...............woohoo

Virtual Tennis 2k2... Oh man...

That was a favorite in the dorms before the dreamcast broke...

There would always be a crowd in there yelling and screaming.

Tennis 2k2, haven't played that one yet... I bought a Dreamcast off of ebay and some of these games rock.

I really didn't appreciate Sega until after they quit making their own hardware, and now its kinda sad since you'd have to own all 3 consoles to get all the good sega games...
