Each time I add Bromine to my hottub, there is an immediate yellowish green foam and preciptant/foam build up...

Any ideas as to why this is occurring? Is it heavy metals that are coming out?

I have a couple of testers including strips, but they sux and are not accurate...have any recommendations for an accurate one for bromine, ph and alkalinity?

the hardness is kind of low in the hottub, at least according to the strips?

thanks

Nope, I use chlorine

ditto

however, most spa/ pool shops will gladly test a sample of your water if you take it to their store. They can help you pinpoint the imbalance.
