Who has loaded SP4 for Exchange yet? Bennies or don't bother? Is the "netinstall" like "windows update"? TIA.

I've installed it, havent noticed any significant differences yet, but then, I havent really had time to deal with the exchange server lately, and Im shifting away from NT stuff towards Solaris, finally 🙂

I didnt do the netinstall BTW, just plain ole setup form the SP4 technet CD.

Wish I had a better excuse to load my Solaris 8, but business is all about Windows and ease of administration for the clients. 🙁 Guess thats why I have all my *NIX flavored stuff at home, wait, whats "home" UGH.

BTW; Thanks 😉

Network install for a service pack is probably a single huge download. It prevents the need of using the installer that first checks your system and then determines what updates you need and then downloading them. Effective if you have a ton of machines to update or you don't have an active net connection (no need to download anything else).
