Sp3 for 2k, anyone try it

Nah, I love my stability and even MS' official SP's are known to be buggy most of the time. Thank you, no.

So let me get this straight. This is a beta release, which may contain bugs, of a patch that is supposed to fix bugs? I find that sad and hilarious at the same time.

I have it, I am on the Beta Test team.
It is actually pretty decent and I have had no issues so far, either they figured out how to kill those annoying UserENV errors or they got a little patch to clear out the Event log 🙂

it is rather large, and contains a good amount of already available patches out there, but there are quite a few that are not public yet.
One thing I noticed was that it had some compatability fixes for Netware and Netware NDPS printing...something we live on at my employer...

Heh this is off the topic but I just noticed this on that site

<< 54 users were active on the ieXbeta Board in the past 15 minutes (25 guests and 26 members). >>

Is that just me?

Umm.... yeah, I just looked too: 62 users were active on the ieXbeta Board in the past 15 minutes (30 guests and 30 members).

Looks like they don't know how to add up.

Ok, I dont understand this. If the patches are fine (individual patches tested and retested), why not release them? Why wait for a "Service Pack"?
