SP2 killed my wireless connection!

Well, I decided to try SP2 and now I cannot connect to the internet. The wireless icon shows that my computer is connected to the network and has excellent signal strength. I have turned off the windows firewall. However, the wireless icon in the system tray says that my connection status is "limited or no connectivity." I tried the "repair" function and the system was unable to give me an ip address.

Next, I manually set an IP address of 192.168.0.3 (I'm behind a router) and the limited connectivity message went away. Still no internet access though.

Anybody had a similar problem? Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

I upgraded to SP2 on the laptop I am typing on, works great. As a matter of fact it fixed some problems caused by a malware infection. I am using the D-link tools instead of letting windows manage my wireless connection. Don't know if that is possible with your setup.

I tried just about everything and still had problems, so I did a system restore back to SP1a. Everything is back to normal, so I guess I will just wait until I can get back to a wired connection before going the SP2 route, since it seems like the update doesn't like my wireless card.
