SP2 completely got me off line.

The network was working at the moment I chose the SP2 update. But not afterwards. Tried to look into network settings but didn't see anything different. Anybody could help?

I'm uninstalling tomorrow. Big bummer!

I just installed SP2 and found that my network and internet settings had all been deleted. I reset them and all is OK now. But, there were some tense moments at first.

I had a minor connection problem after SP2 install,the simple fix for me was to go to Windows firewall in Security Centre icon,then exceptions tab and tick all boxes.Do note I had to do this even when the Windows firewall was disabled(OFF).

I have ordered the CDROM for SP2 to handle various upgrades.

I just installed SP2 and I have no problems. I disabled some stuff that SP2 installed (firewall, popup blocker, security center). I don't need that nonsense running in the background. So far, so good.

try playing with the firewall options that come with sp2.
