SP2 and pre SP3 hot fixes

As far as I can tell SP2 only covers Updates/Hotfixes until 01 Feb 2001. I have installed all security related Hotfixes after this date (7-8 of them) and now I am wondering what to do after installing SP2.
Should I reaply all Hotfixes after 01 Feb 2001 ? I tried to run Hotfix checker http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/Release.asp?ReleaseID=24168 on my system after I installed SP2 and it apears that atleast the registry entry of 3 of the hotfixes has been deleted.
So I guess the safe way is to reinstall everything beyond 01 Feb 2001.

Does M$ adress this issue anywhere ? I haven't been able to find it.

If you follow the security bulletins page, then you know that they usually state when a hotfix is included in a service pack. I would go back through some of the later patches and read through the bulletin (they have some text hidden behind '+' signs. Anything that is not already in SP2 will have to be reapplied.
