I installed SP2 twice from the cd that microsoft mailed me and both times it
caused problems. I did full spyware sweeps with ad-aware and spybot and a virus scan
with everything up to date and current beforehand. It slowed down my computer, caused system
lockups and caused just about all my programs to have some type of problem.
I read something about SP2 having problems with Athlon 64 based systems.
Anybody have any info on what it is that is causeing the problems.
The percentage of affected computers was low. I wonder if I was just one of
the few unlucky ones.
