Everything else looks pretty normal.

Obiviously SPYBLOC & BITDEFENDER are not doing their job.

Thank you for the quick reply,

I had downloaded SpyBloc after the fact, and Bit defender is out of the demo period. Although I think Bitdefender is a pretty good program it's license is only for one year. But on the other hand with all the virus' one can concoct. I would probably be purchasing a new or upgrade later anyway.

Do I find the list of probable bad entries in the registry? I don't have a clue what the HKCU in each line means.
I can get my way around the system registry without doing any damage. So going into it and deleting entries is not a problem provided I know what to look for.

Does HIGHJACKTHIS provide these entries as a way to delete them from within it's own program??

TIA
Neil

After you do a scan in HijackThis, you put a check in the boxes next to the entries you wish to remove, and then click on "Fix checked".

I've been working with another fella, and I've seemingly gotten the problem worked out. Although there does not seem to be any mention of a particular *.Dll file that may or maynot be calling this up. From what I've seen in other posts there is a Dll file that is dormat or something that calls up Sp.html????
So far my homepage has not bee jacked today. But only time will tell.

TIA

Neil
P.s. this is what I currently have as a HJT log file.
Thanks for looking, this has been very aggrevating at best.

1st. Use this tool to remove the about:blank hijack
2nd. Uninstall Spyblocs, it is a malicious program, see this.
3rd. for more info about what happened to your computer, see this site, babelfish will be needed to translate.
