I've got the SLK 900(U) right now...

I don't think it'd be worth replacing your current heatsink. From what I've gathered, the SLK900 performs on par with the SP-94 (intel version of this heatsink).

I like the design. I just got an slk900a and love the temps!! I'm not sure I'll be dollin out dollars for a new one any time soon though.

apparently they are like 3 C lower than the current SLK 947U under load...

so I think thats a big cooling difference...

it might improve a better 1 C after they come out with the final version.

so thats about 4 C in total...
for winter, I don't really care...
but when summer comes again. I think it matters 😉
