Is this mobo a good option? What other mobos compare to this one? Should I wait for something else? I'm building a new computer in the near future.

If you dont plan on overclcoking, its a nice board. If you plan on overcocking, stay away from this board. It suffers from the cold boot problem. The best for overclocking are the Epox SIS645 boards.

I know of at least two members here on AT who have their P4-1.6A's running at 2.4G or higher on the Soyo, so it's not necessarily that bad of an overclocker. It suffered from a voltage problem at first but the latest BIOS revisions have fixed that.
