I haven't had a Soyo yet but my KR7AR board has been a dream to own, I recentely upgraded and sold it just 2 weeks ago.
I never had a problem with it, never creashed and was an extremely stable board.
I've read good things about the Dragon board also, I just like Abit board better.

Currently using the soyo dragon plus motherboard and it is still doing nice. Going to upgrade soon since it is getting a bit old and can only use up to 2100+ xp and pc2100 ram. Otherwise still a nice motherboard for a 2nd machine. Make sure you dont use all 3 memory slots because from what I hear it's buggy on the board if you do that. It's also a pretty motherboard if you got a window case :p

This reply may be a little late, but if using two memory sticks on the Soyo Dragon+ put them in slots 1 and 3.

That is right. I am happy with my Soyo KT400 Ultra, this motherboard is very stable.

Chompman,
Wish I could send you a pm but it's disabled, so I hope you read this.

My brother wants me to give his computer to his daughter cause his wife bought them a new Dell. It has the K7V Dragon + mainboard and I was thinking of upgrading the 1700+ cpu to a very overclockable 1700+ that is currently in my pc with an epox 8RDA+ running at 2400+ w/ fsb=400. I suppose I could also donate an epox 8K5A2+ mobo if that could exploit that good cpu.
Can the Dragon Plus manage overclocking at all?
