Soyo SY-K7V Dragon Plus Mobo
I am trying to install one hard drive to one of the extra IDE channels (3&4). I just want this to act as a normal hard drive.
I enabled the BIOS option for Onboard Promise IDE Raid.
The Promise Ultra IDE Controller shows up in devmgr.
The drive shows up in D0 on the boot, but does not appear anywhere in Windows (XP Pro)
I haven't been able to find any documentation on this other than steps to do this during the OS install.
What am I missing? Am I trying something that can't be done?
