Lost circuit had this complaint about Soyo Dragon Plus

Compatibility

The first setup of the Dragon Plus used the MSI 8822 Starforce (GeForce3) and everything was working flawlessly. For benchmarking purposes, I replaced the MSI adapter with the ASUS V8200 T5 (Ti500) with the result that most D3D applications would either freeze immediately or else run at about 1/10 of the expected speed. Interestingly, in the BIOS setup, only AGP x 2 was available as soon as the Ti500 was installed. A few format c: and reinstallations of the OS and drivers later, Soyo released a new BIOS which partially solved the problem. That is, AGP x4 is now available for the Ti500 and the performance is markedly improved. That doesn't really mean, though, that the card is working correctly. Most users might not necessarily notice the issues but for reference, some numbers are posted below.

Has anybody noticed the same problem. They used windows 98SE and 2000 Professional.
