ZZF is great. Top-notch, just like Newegg.

Only problem is that both rebates say they require the original UPC and original packing slip.

I just emailed Zip Zoom Fly asking about the rebates. Hopefully they will reply quickly because this does look like a good deal.
I am in need of a new motherboard because my Gigabyte has some leaking caps, and one of the IDE slots have gone bad.

Monster8 - that sounds more the description of an old car than a motherboard. :)

Bradgows:

Do a search here under Soyo, Newegg, or motherboard and you will turn up a bunch of threads about FAR Soyo boards. Those of us who bought this spring are STILL waiting for our rebates, beyond the already very long 14 week period. Rumors are flying that PC Chips took over Soyo, which Soyo denies. It is now clear Soyo is doing a lot of free after rebate, or nearly so, deals on motherboards. I'm pessimistic I will ever actually see my money.

Oh and while I don't know anything about this motherboard model, the one I got was a POS.

Definately a buyer beware deal.

I'll agree with Thump553, buyer beware. I would NOT risk this amount of money on a SOYO rebate, i am also waiting on a rebate from many months ago. You'll thank youself later for avoiding SOYO rebates. Sorry for the thread crap bradgows, just giving my $.02 on SOYO rebates.

RBC, yeah it basically is a dying car! It just keeps getting worse, I have a feeling some of the problems were due to a crappy powersupply.

I did receive a reply from Zip Zoom Fly in regards to the rebates. Their response was "Please be advised that you can actually mail both forms in one
envelope. The separate envelopes requirement applies only if you order two
different motherboards with two different rebates. Since both rebates
apply to the one specific motherboard, those restrictions do not
apply."

So it sounds like it complies with the fine print. However, I am now leary of purchasing this motherboard with the rebates because of everyone's problems with the rebates.

PLEASE NOTE: To receive the bonus rebate, please send BOTH the bonus rebate and the standard rebate TOGETHER in the same envelope for processing, along with other required items as stated in the rebate form.
It's on their website.

I have both the V1 and V2 version of the board in this package, There operation is flawless but the Soyo rebates suck. The one for the V1 board was sent in in April and I still don't have it yet. That is ridiculous. My last Staples rebate came in 3 weeks. :-/

I don't even know if this board is worth $10. I owned the original Soyo Dragon and the KT400 dragon and both boards were crap and had problems. Customer service from Soyo is also almost non existant. Buyer beware!

First deal post. Had a board go bad, looked around for a new one and found this for $10. Is ZipZoomFly any good?
