Not a great deal since shipping is approx $15, making the total $145 after rebate.

The CPU goes for about $120, give or take, so you're paying about $25 for the Soyo MB.

This deal involves an OnRebate dot com rebate, not a Soyo rebate.

Outpost dot com has better barebones deals from time to time.

Please distrust SOYO rebates. My various SOYO products seem to work OK, but I have $235 worth of rebates outstanding, beginning from September, 2004. After their initial non-payment of any rebates at all, I emailed them with jpgs of all the rebate material, and they said they would pay in three weeks. When they did not I contacted the BBB. They are now saying that I never correctly submitted most of the rebates, and are implying that I did not pursue the problem through them, and that it is now in any case too late to do so. They are trying to settle by giving me $60 of $235. I suspect I shall next have to report them to state and local authorities. Of the more than 150 rebates I have submitted--many of which have been difficult to collect--SOYO has by far given me the most trouble.

I think the FTC and BBB have been investigating them over recent rebate problems.

Just wanted to give my two cents that if your item ever breaks (very likely), you'll have very tough time getting RMA on the time.

1. Soyo started charging $5 "handling fee" for all RMA's.
2. You'll incur a lot of time and $$$ just getting to a live person to get a "reference no." which you will need to get an RMA no. But get this, the no. I got rejected by their RMA website.
