I've got a 9700 Pro to use on this board.... The 9700 instuction's say to always plug in power from the p/s directly to the card. But the dragon has a power adaptor on the MOBO right next to the AGP that say to use if you have a pro vid card...

I'm wondering. Do I just use iether or? Or do I plug in both? It's kind of confusing.

Thanks!

Why not just follow the instructions from the video card manufacturer (ATI)?

You are not running an AGP PRO card.

Well, I told you it would be a simple question. I just got a bit confused for a bit. Thanks anyway. I wonder what would happen if you did plug em both in......Hmmmmm the 100 dollar question!!! I had just relised (After posting this) that just because your vidoe card box says PRO, it's Not a PRO type hardware slot.. Errr Port. Is it a port or slot? Sloket? SLORT? SPLOT? PORST?

AGP Pro cards run on a different voltage than regular AGP cards do (don't know the number, but I know it's considerably higher).

Just connect a line from the PS to the card and be done w/it. :)

Most people have never seen an AGP pro card. You are correct in that a card that says pro is not an AGP pro card. AGP = Accelerated Graphics Port, it is still called a slot.
