Soyo dragons and GeForce Ti problems

Hey guys,
I am using my second Soyo dragon board right now, the dragon ultra kt333. My previous board was the Dragon plus kt266a. When i had the kt266 board, my geforce3 ti200 went out on me: it would just hang the system in games. so i sold the ti200 thinking it was broke for 20 bucks. Then i bought a ti4400, which i am using with the dragon ultra. A few weeks ago, it started doing the hanging thin during games as well. So RMAed the ti4400. Got it back today, install warcraft 3, and it still hangs. Does anyone else have these kind of problems with the soyos? Also, while i was waiting for my ti4400 to get back to me, i was using my roomates kyro2 card without a single hitch. Is it possible that i got the two jacked up dragons? Pleeeeease let me know if you have any suggestions. And no, i am not overclocking, and havent for a while. im tired of spending money on this damn computer. Thanks,

RYAN

My machine is based on a Soyo Dragon Plus (the one you had trouble with), and I have a GeForce 3 ti200, overclocked to 220/500, and I've never had any problems with it whatsoever.

What drivers are you using? Locking up is either a driver issue or heat issue most of the time.

I dont think it should be a heat problem. I have the stock cooling on the front of the card, and a sunon fan blowing on the back side of the card as well as the stock ram sinks. Also, i was using drivers 30.82. And if it were a driver problem, i would get a blue screen sating nv4disp.dll problem. Also, i took my system out of the case, and when i drag windows across the screen, or do anything that requires the video card to work, i can hear a small buzz noise coming from the vid card, and it seems to be coming from the power components from the far end of the card. Also, i tried flashing to the most recent BIOS, and it wold go, saying somehting about it not liking the current BIOS. I am leanning towards a motehrboard problem rght now, which really pisses me off because it works just fine with a kyro card, but not mine. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks

Well, i just flashed my motherboard to the ealier BIOS, and everything seems to work ok now. So it seems that this is a compatibility issue with the Soyo BIOS and the abit card. Anyone else have that problem before?
