Well I just finished my upgrade and everything went pretty good. But I am having problems with the onboard lan. Windows detected it and I directed it to the drivers on the cd and device manager shows no problems. When I plug in the cable into the motherboard lan connector the light on my router doesn't even light up showing a connection. I tried a different cable same results. I stuck a lan card I have out of my old setup and works with the cable no problems.

Yes I have it enabled in the Bios. Are there any other settings I could be missing? I also went to windows update and they had a newer driver for it and I installed it with the same results.

Thanks

i just installed my new system with a dragon+. what you did was basically what i did. instead of using the drivers from the cd, i downloaded the ones off of soyo's website just in case there was an update. changed the tcp/ip settings, and then good to go. so i dunno what might be wrong. device manager checks out as the onboard lan working properly?
