soyo dragon + won't recognize raid hdd's

I just built a system with soyo dragon + / xp 1800 / 512 mushkin 2100 ddr / 2X maxtor (quantum) 30 gig / gf3 ti200 / audigy sc. When I boot I get a notice Fast Trak does not detect proper interrupts, please check your PCI IRQ setup and make sure the PCI slot supports Bus Master Operations. When it enters the array setup it says no disk found please check the power and data cable connections. I moved the ide cable to one of the regular ide connections (set one drive as slvae) and bios recognized both, so I've got them cabled and powered correctly. I've got the jumpers set right and the Promise onboard RAID is enabled in the Bios. Do I need to set the IRQ's manually and if so, what does each one need to be assigned to?

When you say you have the jumpers set right I assume you mean the
HD jumpers. Do you have the RAID/IDE jumper on the motherboard
set correctly?

What cards do you have occupying your PCI slots, more specifically which slots? I believe you might solve your problem by moving some of your PCI cards around... I believe the 3rd PCI slot on that board shares the same IRQ as the IDE/Raid controller... I may be wrong, but I do remember running into a similar conflict with that board. When the Raid is configured correctly it works great by the way.
