Soyo Dragon P4S and poor disk scores

I am running Windows 2000 Pro w/ service pack 2. I just ran the file system test in Sandra and my results look extremly low. I was scoring around 15,000 when an typical ATA-100 HD was around 30,000. I am using a Maxtor 740 series HD on its Ultra 133 PCI card and I have enabled Ultra DMA everywhere I can see. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

That's happened to my system too,
seems like they have a really higher standard or
they bench the computer when it still empty
w/only OS installed, or probably just inaccuracy.
But Sandra seems accurate in every benchmark
so it's really hard to believe that they missed this one.

Is this a normal score then? Should I try a different benchmarking program? I think my drive is acting sluggish, consideriing the configuartion I have setup.
