Okay, this is my first Soyo board. Just started building it a couple of days ago. I have the Soyo Dragon Lite P4s645d with the following:
Windows XP
P4b 2.4 GHz
400 Watt King PSU
3 WD Hard Drives with 8MB cache (1 RAID0 Array, and one drive for data)
Lit-on CD/RW
FX 5200 hooked up to my 55 inch wide screen HD TV via TV-OUT on the card.
Linksys wireless PCI card
4 80mm fans (54 CFM each) hooked up to a
4 port Nexus rheostat
1 FD

So, everything was going just fine and dandy. Had a little problem setting up the RAID to be the boot drive, but giot that figured out. So tonight, I break out my new SoundBlaster Audigy2 Platinum. Hooke it
up with all the bells and whistles. I put the installation disc in and boot the computer. Goes okay until the splash screen. It says it is checking the HD for problems as it was shut down correctly previously. Well, for one it wasn't and two, it started scanning for like 10 seconds, rebooted it self, and NEVER came back up. That was all she wrote. Done everything I could. Changed Slots for SB card. Took out the card. Removed and reseated the vid card. Unplugged some peripherals thinking I was drawing too much power, but again, nothing worked. So now I am stuck with dead mobo. Any suggestions folks?
