soyo dragon - audio input problems

I've been unable to get line-in, mic, or spdif-in to work. When i plug/unplug an input into the mic jack, I get a thud as if the jack is active, but cannot record any audio.

I'm running under win2k. if anyone has a working setup, please tell me what drivers you are using and what mixer settings you're using.
