Has anybody else had a problem when the SOYO Dragon + 1st boots up and cycles the PS a couple of times?

When I 1st boot, I get the 1 beep from BIOS and then PS seems to restart (fans power down and then up). It does the 1 beep a few times with the power on/off and finally 2 beeps and starts running. I am going to try per-spinning the CPU fan to see if that helps since SOYO needs a fan signal on CPUFAN1.

I am using an Enermax EG365P-VE PS with this board and 1800+ and 3 sticks of Crucial 256 MB 2100 RAM and Philips Acoustic Edge and 2BA1 BIOS.

Once running system is super stable :)

This is funny... I got the same board, 3 sticks of Crucial, same power supply, Athlon XP, and same bios. When turning on my computer i hear 2 beeps about 5-7 seconds apart, then the monitor turns on, then it goes to reading the bios and then a 3rd beep.

My system seems to run fine (for the past 7 hours i had it running)

The Dragon + startup is a bit different from the norm.

One loud beep, followed by two short beeps then video is NORMAL for this board. I checked this
with John Howland who is a Soyo guru of sorts.

If you hear anything else there could be a problem. If you hear NO beeps but fans are moving
it may be a video card not seated properly. You may also hear your PS cycle down and up with
the fans.

I am considering buying this board and am curious.......doesn't the on-board led show normal progress during this progression of beeps?

Edit
Nevermind...forgot that was on the MSI and Epox boards, not the Soyo

Mine does the same thing. I thought the power supply wasn't giving the system enough juice so I upgraded to a 350W Sparkle PS. Unfortunately, that didn't stop the behavior mted1 describes. :(
