SOYO 7VBA133U - Experience?

Anyone have this board? Any comments, good or bad?

I just joined this forum (I usually read through just to know what's up, don't post) in order to answer your question about the SOYO 7VBA133U motherboard. First of all, I have to admit that I am a big fan of SOYO (we don't get any other very good brands around here -Bolivia- such as Shuttle, Abit or Epox motherboards).

I have 4 SOYOs at this time (5BT5, 6VBA133, 7VBA133U and K7V Dragon Plus!) and I love them all, specially the 7VBA133U (I haven't had the opportunity to test the Dragon long enough).

I had some problems with this board (7VBA133U) at the begining (random reboots, shut-downs, etc.) so I turned it back and received a new one, which works flawlessly now, with an Intel Celeron 700MHz (I tested it with a Pentium III 1GHz with better results, obviously). I think the 7VBA133U is one of the best boards in its category (Pentium III, Celeron), with support for Tualatin CPU, 66/100/133 MHz FSB, 4X AGP, UDMA 33/66/100 and onboard AC97 Sound. After the problems with the first board I have had none with this one. So I strongly recommmend it.

I will continue to work with this system for Internet access, backup and storage, and I will use my Dragon Plus for video capturing and editing.
