Keep in mind you can ask to try out the monitor you're buying before leaving the store.

officemax is having the sale again on the Soyo 24", of course, it's YMMV b/c not all officemax carry them anymore. i just scored one today $279.99 + tax + california recycle fee = 309.xx out the door. got home, tested it out, it's a MVA panel. xD good luck to u guys

It must be easy for companies to deceive customers in regards to TN versus 8-bit panels.

Well, I just got my RMA Soyo monitor back today. Box says 6ms, not the newer TN 3ms. It's working fine as of right now...
