BWAHAHAHHA Soybomb got a cable modem today. Sweet. I didn't know the internet was this fast for anyone ;) The only downside now is my phone keeps ringing since the telemarketers can get through! i'll make myself feel better by not doing my homework and whopping up in a game of Quake 2 paintball!!!! I just had to share my joy, sorry ;)

LOL nah viper, i'll pass, but LOB seems desperate for attention, better watch yourself around him ;) Btw: if it makes you feel any better they're really overcharging us on it hehe.

I also notice i get antry when i'm connected to a crappy server that cant give me any more than like 3K/s!

Come on, will somebody please overcharge me for high-speed internet access? $100/month sounds good to me...

I figure I'm a prime candidate for satellite access, as I'm on a hill & have a clear view of damned near anywhere. I like the 500 kb/s transfer rates, but the ping time will probably suck even worse than my 56K dial does. But then again, I never play games, so the 500 kb/s would be really nice...

Supposedly Radio Shack is currently selling satellite systems with new Compcraps, but it will be a while before you can get it by itself. Hell, by then I may be moved out anyway.
