just because we just got electricity 10 years ago doesn't mean we in the South can't throw down in the computer area. If you're Southern and proud (or simply inddiferent) post where you're from and let's see how many we have. I can start off:

South Alabama FTMFW (Dothan to be specific, bout 70K peeps)

Today it waqs like 105F and of COURSE 100% humididty and nobody gave a damn cause its like that everyday lol.

That's the only thing that is keeping me in this geographic region. Once I start my career, I will sure as hell attempt to move.

Middle TN. People are flooding into here, and traffic is beginning to get bad. Wouldn't really call it traditional south. In fact, most people don't have accents much different than mid-western.
