I thought this was a really nice gesture of them. Although it wasn't as catastrophic as Katrina, I'm not sure the rest of the country really grasps just how widespread and destructive the floods truly were this year. And I'm lumping the floods back in March along with the current ones. At some point in 2016 it seems as if every part of the state had to deal with severe flooding (myself included, I'm not in a flood zone and don't have flood insurance but the water was about a half inch away from getting in my house).
