Man, I don't envy you. I hate it when the fires rage around here and it is particularly hot today so that doesn't help.

Good luck man, keep your windows and doors closed and run an air purifier if you have one.

My room mate's parents' house might no longer exist today. It's a tragic situation.

But his super hot sister is going to be staying with us for awhile

Then you should be more worried about the Sylmar fires which is literally right in their backdoor.

And by literally, you mean figuratively. Please stop diluting the meaning of that word.

Umm no I meant literally. I wasn't speaking figuratively. If you see where San Fernando and Sylmar are, they are cities right next to each other.

After I posted this, I called our old neighbor in Anaheim Hills. Situation sucks. He was ordered to evacuate. I couldn't see A.H. from where these pics were taken. (Fullerton, Brea border on St. College and Bastunchary)
It was covered by a wall of smoke.
I feel so helpless. I want to go over there and offer another vehicle for him to load up, but there was no possible way in.

When I lived there, we had several fires within viewing distance. But this is the first one that could possibly burn down the neighborhood I once lived in.
The authorities are being really cautious. An apt complex there went up faster than anyone expected. They don't want to chance anything.
