I'm in the LA area, and right now have DSL through Verizon. Its fine for games and surfing, but when my roomie and I want to play Battlefield 2 at the same time its lag city. Will the cable be faster in this regard? Thanks for any input.
 
I am around the LA area about an hour away seems like everything has been running a little slower plus I think i am getting packeted.
