Slater's 50/50 is introducing their new 50/50 fruter on September 3, International Bacon Day. The 50/50 fruter is a hotdog wrapped in bacon and it also has bacon inside. Get a free one tomorrow.

The new dog is an all-beef frank that's stuffed with chopped, crispy bacon, then blanketed in even more bacon and griddled. It's like a Danger Dog on steroids. The 50/50 Furter comes bare, but you can dress it up with typical hot dog fixings (onions, relish, mustard, etc.), or order it with chipotle adobe mayo, avocado, pepper jack cheese and a sunny-side up egg (the Classic); with green relish, yellow mustard, pickles, tomato, peppers and celery salt on a poppyseed bun (The Abe Froman); with Guinness bacon chili, beer cheese sauce and chopped onions (the Chili Cheese Ripper); or with coleslaw, dill pickles, onion rings and barbecue sauce (the BBQ Bacon Bomb). All are priced around $9 and are available at any Slater's location.
