Any thoughts on which seasons are the best if one was only going to buy a couple of them?

One of the few series where an argument can be made for the vast majority of the seasons. While the first seasons were the most randomly funny and revolutionarily different (not to mention featuring the most funny early Cartman with the nasal voice), the later ones are fantastic in their own way due to their greater tendency to provide sharp satire on current events (for instance, the Terry Schiavo satire was written and aired before she even died! Also, the very latest Chef episode that pokes fun at the real reason he left was aired only days after the resignation). If you need to choose, go early just so you can see where some of the recurring jokes come from.
 
Coolness. I've needed S3 & 4 and the cheapest I'd seen was used for $22.50 at Gamestop. Thanks, OP!
