They couldn't say it better.

50% of the country supports it and 50% against. Both sides need each other because without the pro war the antiwar would make the country appear to be too weak. On the same token the pro war needs the antiwar to make us look like we don't want to take over the world.

Yeah, that was a good episode. I agree half-heartedly; while the anti-war people certainly demonstrate to those in other countries that some people want peace, that doesn't stop them from hating us any less.

Pretty good episode. If we were uniform in our support for the war, people would be more worried about us. I've heard and read people from other countries say they don't have anything against Americans but don't like Bush. Without the vocal anti-war group, Bush couldn't be a scapegoat, and they'd have to spread their dislike over all Americans.

I like South Park alot, but I don't know if I would go looking for serious insight from the guys that made Orgasmo.

I actually, I find the political commentary present on the show to be very enlightened. I know that sounds like a joke, but it's not - Anyone who's seen a few episodes know that at the end of each, they'll often "learn something" from the episode's antics - And sometimes, just sometimes, it's pretty damned sensible.

yea, I kind of see that... but at the same time... I wouldn't want to be quoting the originators of christmas poop in a debate. :)

I like when Cartman tried to induce a flashback by dropping a rock on his head.

"I wonder what things were like back in 1776..."

Clunk!

Uh...ow...uhh...
