South Florida

LOW cost of living
growing population
rising real estate market

SUM(above) = insurance business heaven!

p.s. west coast > east coast

Hi Mwilding,

I, for once, disagree with you. Amazing!!

I do see it from your point of view however and for you it is a plus. Low cost of living is only relative to where you are from BTW. 😀

I dont see how people love it here but I do understand it. Has to do with where you grew up, how close to family you are, activities you like and so on. I dont care for it but nothing against those who do.

I like cooler weather without snow and ice, less population and traffic. Might even wind up in N Florida or areas of the Gulf Coast. Who Knows?

Originally posted by: aphex Well i grew up in Coral Springs, FL (just west of Pompano Beach) and i loved it over there. Im on the other coast now in Sarasota, FL (just south of Tampa) and i hope to move back to the Ft. Lauderdale area once i graduate from law school. Check out Coral Springs though, its a nice city. Can't speak for San Diego though, only went over there on a day trip from LA once 🙂
Cool! I lived in Coral Springs before I came to this God awful state of MS. 🙁 My best friend still lives there. How long were you there and what years, Aphex?? Also, some of my family used to live in Pompano but the last I knew they were in Tamerac now. I miss FL so much. *tears begin to flow down cheeks.* LOL
We movied to Coral Springs in 91, and i stayed there till 99 when i went off to college. I went to Stoneman Dogulas, how bout you? BTW, my parents still live there and i usually go back every two months or so....

LOL. Ironically I moved from there when you were moving in. I went to Coral Springs High. SD was just built not long before I left...I remember riding up there and seeing it. Looked pretty nice. From what I hear the area has grown tremendously from when I was there.

Is Fudrucker's still there?? I lived so close to it I could have walked there easily. The memories of S. Florida...

Matt-

I never wanted to live east of the Mississippi again. Does that answer your question?? I will go back west if I can.

West coast of Fl is much better than the east coast IMHO.

fair enough.... 🙂

My ideal location would be the western florida coastline, southern california weather, and northeastern people

If you move to south Florida you'll be making the biggest mistake of your life, and you'll regret it for a long, long time.
The weather is abysmal nine months out of the year. But, that's the good news. The bad news are the folks. Too many, and most arrogant, ignorant, and flat out rude beyond belief.
And the schools! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Laughingly atrocious. We're always near the bottom of the national rankings. All I can say is thank you, Louisiana.
