Normally I would make the effort...but I really don't have the stomach for it anymore as this shit haunts me. It's ugly...really ugly stuff. If you want to know I suggest that you make an effort to find out.

I wouldn't have to go find out. NR, WSJ among others would be running articles daily on this if it were true. Sure, there are abuses occasionally like in the article you posted, but some sort of widespread ghoulish conspiracy where otherwise normal people go to work at baby execution farms is a fantasy. I think that guy who went undercover and produced (heavily edited and misleading) ACORN videos wouldn't have had much problem turning up dozens of such places if they existed. Besides the doc in your article who is on trial for murder, where else has this occured? Fox News wouldn't let me down on this I think.

Then make no effort...I didn't think you had it in you anyway. But please spare me the false allegation that I'm advocating widespread conspiracy...if anyone here is believing in self-deluded fantasies, it's you.

By make no effort I meant I will not spend my time conducting research into right wing delusions. As I said, if the WSJ, NR, or Fox have any news about criminal charges filed against doctors who birth babies and then kill them I think I'll hear about it. But no, you're right, I wont spend my time investigating your allegations of en masse ritualized slaughter that have somehow manged to elude all mainstream conservative reporting.

I heard your response the first time...there's no need to regurgitate it.

If you aren't doing research to prove his position, it's really your fault.

Maybe the bill should include a provision requiring anyone who opposes abortion to adopt unwanted infants.

Or, since they're so set against abortions, perhaps they would volunteer to have a few crack babies transplanted into their wombs!

Sounds like something Christ would do!!! ():)

Maybe the bill should require those that are pro-choice to actually witness a late-term abortion, or at least read an actual, graphic description of how it occurs. I would bet money that the majority of people would not want to hear/see how it is done, because they know how gut wrenching it is.

Untrue, we throw late-term abortion viewing parties at my house all the time. Way better than Saw films. Hostel comes close though.

Don't you guys know that us lefties celebrate the necessity of abortions? We love the fact that only women can get pregnant, sometimes under extraordinarily difficult circumstances that force them into horrible situations with no good or easy way out and that even when they make a considered and well informed choice with recognized consequences that they still might be scarred physically and mentally for the rest of their lives. I mean, that's hysterical stuff.

And anyone who eats a hamburger should have to watch a video of a slaughterhouse before taking a bite. In the future we should base all laws on whether something is gross or not.

Yup, because a lot of abortions are late-term abortions, so we should use them to fuel our bleeding hearts.

Oh wait, no they're not at all common... something like less than 1% (0.08%, according to the Guttmacher Institute, 1997) of abortions are late-term.

My question is this, how is smashing skulls and snapping spinal cords any different than a pair of forceps at the base of the skull or a vacuum to remove the fetus, all are a violence committed to a fetus. The end result is death regardless of what the doctor's credentials are, whether he truly is a certified doctor or a fake. The injury is still suffered by the fetus.
