Your kidding right . Voter fraud LOL . I live in MN its a decent state yet the Dem voter fraud is alarming to all of us . Wisconson people voting in MN and their state . Felons voting illegals voting . The last election I didn't vote but a did go to the voting hall to ask to view the Voters list . THEY REFUSED. This next election I won't vote if there is an election . Unless Paul is running . But this time I going with a MN state government offical . When I ask to see the voter sheet for allowed voters and UNALLOWED voters if the guy says no . The gooberment man will be present I will press charges.

I have been gone all day and now, lets see if I get it right:

It is not a removal of constitutional rights to force people to get a photo ID and pay a fee in order to buy a handgun, but it is a removal of constitutional rights to force people to get a photo ID to vote?

Who is the idiot who holds THAT huge double standard?

Hay who invited common sense to this party . When I entered the labor markets in late 60s you had to show birth certificate to get a job . Was that law(policy) changed just to allow non citizens to take american jobs?

Have you got links to back up those claims?

I don't understand why people get offended by this. Some people don't know shit about anything and they only vote for Obama because he's black or vote for McCain because he's not black. Those idiots probably shouldn't be voting. If putting up a simple barrier like needing some kind of ID with a picture on it is enough to stop someone from voting, then it's best they didn't vote anyway.

Serious question for the people against photo ID. Wouldn't it also be unconstitutional to not allow people to vote until they are 18? This is actually worse than requiring photo ID because I had photo ID from my school back in 1997, but I couldn't vote until a few years later. I was disenfranchised that entire time.

I wonder why repubs aren't demanding photo ID's to vote in the Iowa circus, I mean caucus?

There was talk about doing that since the smelly hippy occupy morons were looking to infiltrate the meetings. It seems that verifying names and addresses is sufficient as everything is so local and an eye kept out for shenanigans by morons.

Weyrich's audience votes for Jesus. The difference between them and other poorly informed voters is that they're highly indoctrinated, organized & dangerous. People pull weird shit when they think they have God on their side, as history has shown many times.

In the US, it was 21 for ~200 years, reduced to 18 back in the 70's, iirc. Persons under the age of 18 aren't completely responsible for themselves, by law, nor should they be, imho.

A line has to be drawn somewhere, and 18 is consistent with the ROTW and with current understanding of developmental psychology.

What would you suggest as an alternative in your attempt at distraction & obfuscation? 12? 6? In utero?

That's pretty much true of any election...

Of course, what's good for Iowa Repubs doesn't apply to everybody else, does it?

Big chance to lead by example... probably not, huh?

No, it's not even close to the same because the caucus is precinct by precinct so these people know each other and must stay throughout the meeting so it's not like just a line coming in to vote and leave like an elections. This is party specific and there is quite a bit that goes into a caucus other than just picking the candidate. There is platform discussion, precinct reps, etc.
Nice try though - you just don't know how things work so your ignorance can be excused a bit. :)

I've been to caucus meetings here in Colorado, CSG, and I know exactly how it works...

In most jurisdictions, elections are by precinct, too...

Nice bit of excuse making, however...
