In some states, you can legally purchase assault rifles, high capacity magazines and thousands of rounds of ammo with cash from vendors that do not check your background beyond a brief flashing of a driver's license to verify that you are a citizen of that state.

I really doubt that many of those vendors report the full amount of cash transactions to the tax man.

You don't have to protect a still from friends and neighbors. Those "inbred Hillbillies" you so casually disparage would help hide your still from ATF; they'd even help stir the mash and stoke the fire for you.

My bad, I was confusing South Carolina with Kentucky.

why does why it matters to me matter to you ?

anyway, for those who posted reasons for owning different guns for different reasons, I understand that. But to me that isn't "stocking up".

"Stocking up" is accumulating more of the same thing. like squirrels gathering nuts.
