Sources for titanium or niobium (colombium) bits?

I'm currently in an Art Metal class. After finding some instructions as to how to anodize reaction metals, I'd like to try it on a ring.
Does anyone know a good source for cheap titanium or niobium? I'm not shy about ripping it out of broken electronics; ideally, I'd like to melt the stuff and cast it. However, titanium's a pain in the kiester to cast; niobium is generally rather rare, and not terribly popular. (Seeing as how it's normally five times the price of silver, I'm not surprised.)

Reactive Metals is a good source for materials. I am a metalsmith & order from them quite often.
Not that this matters, I have met the owners in person at symposiums & they are pretty cool.

I usually make it myself, but if you want to see some neat stuff check out their Mokume Gane.

Best of luck with your art metal class.
