I'd like to read up on reviews of the most popular consumer home NAS products on the market. Both for my job, I sell computer hardware but NASs are a real weak spot for me, and for myself as I'm thinking of maybe getting one. But I don't know of any good resource on the net. Would be grateful if anyone could point out a few resources! I'm looking for product reviews in the consumer and home space, not for business and servers. I know some of the big names (Thecus, Drobo, Netgear, Synology, QNAP etc...) but I don't know anything about any of the individual products.
 
I chose synology for my home NAS since they had good reviews and their proprietary OS is really good. Set it up in 30 mins and haven't looked back. I feel the best source of reviews are directly from the consumers using the product. Check out synology's forums.
