What are the rules for using a copyrighted soundtrack for a personal slideshow?
I got this message recently:
"Dear Qacer,
The soundtrack of your video Florida Christmas 2004 has been notified as infringing third party rights preventing us from publishing it:
Title: Pictures Of You
Artist: The Cure
Producer: Elektra
As you are probably aware, the soundtrack requires the authorisation of the author or its copyright holders. We cannot host your video with its current soundtrack.
However, if you want to publish your video with another cleared soundtrack, you can go to the audioremix page and choose a new soundtrack by going to the following URL:

The Dailymotion Team."
Am I even allowed to host this personally and share it with family and friends?
