If you add two odd numbers together, you get an even number.

If you multiply two odd numbers together, you get an odd number.

But, it should be noted that in any base other than ten, 10 is not expressed as ten, but rather the base itself. For example 10 in base 8 is eight.

I'm not doubting that you already know this, but the average person still reads 10 as ten even if the base isn't ten. At least when initially learning other bases.

I started playing this on my phone, paused, and then hopped into my car to go to work.

The phone auto-connected to the car over Bluetooth and started playing All Your Base again. So I was jamming to this during my 5 minute commute
