Sounds in AIM

They are too dam loud.
Normally I rerecord all of them at a lower level and replace the originals.
What do you all do?

I usually just disable em (if and when I use AIM) though rerecording/altering the sound files is relatively painless option

I just turn all of them off besides the new message sound

haha, I do the same thing. I make the volume about 60% of what they originally are and replace them.

Now I just don't use the sounds. It's also a great excuse when you get a message from somebody that you don't want to talk to

"Sorry, I couldn't see your IM because I don't have sound." Muhaha

i disable them and use a console beep for all aim events.

Woulds someone who has decreased the volume of all their sound files in AIM mind sending them to me?
