sounds fine in winamp, no sounds in games

i'm trying to play some dos and dos4gw games on win95, but all games have no sounds, in addition, i cant change the resolution...how do I solve this problem?

Get in the time machine and come back to the future? Seriously, maybe Dos emulation isn't supported on your card? You'd need to post more info...

soundcard: creative soundblaster awe
midi: roland jv-1000

all dos/dos4gw games only have midi, but no other music.
sounds fine in win game, winamp, and all windows app.

so.....whats the problem???
