i had been trying to recording some guitar stuff in cakewalk and my onboard sound flips out (stops working, won't record, etc). after several restarts, i finally get it to to work and record, but during playback it crashes my pc.
system:

intel 4 3.06 hyperthread
512 mb ram
soundmax integrated digital audio
error message:

Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0x0000001(0x49E31D54,0x00000002,0x00000000,0xf75745E5)
