SoundFont issue

i just now figered out i can change the soundfont from the default 2mb using LiveWare, and guess what? no effect. so then i thought there's a problem with AudioHQ, so i cleared all the fonts and played the midi again. it played!

how should i onfigure this thing? where to get best soundfonts/banks?
and most importantly - How to configure WinAmp to corretly play midi files through that thing so it will be correctly affected?

am i really so confused? yes i am.

Go here for a huge collection of some of the best sounding and most complete MIDI Soundfonts.

Creative has only implemented static soundfont caching....meaning that it will sit in RAM a a great big useless chunk unless MIDI is being played. So unless you are going to be listening to MIDI, I suggest you clear the banks and only load the soundfonts just before you want to listen to some MIDIs.
