I was looking at the auzentech x-fi prelude as it recently has dropped in price in canada, (~150 after 20cad MIR) but it is still on pci, and I've read a lot about how pci creative x-fi cards have issues called "crack, snapple, pop" with nforce motherboards, does anyone here have any experience with this? Currently my SB Live 24bit! does this too, but I have reduced the popping by lowering the pci latency in bios to 2.

Another question, do you guys think pci will be completely phased out soon? Or does anyone think auzentech will be bringing out a pci-express card soon? Thanks in advance.

There are too many PCI products, AGP -> PCI-E was easier since it was just one component
